Getting a visa to Shanghai in Hong Kong. How long will it take and how hard?

We are New Zealanders who are planning a trip to Shanghai early in November We booked 6 days in Hong Kong. We do not want to buy plane tickets for Shanghai to Hong Kong is not sure when or how long we go for. To obtain a visa before leaving home we have to show return tickets to China. Is it easy to get a visa in Hong Kong and where can get it. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong Island.

I mean u go there in the morning and Wil u get ur visa the next day. actually most of the concierge of 5 stars can do 4 u. HV dun u actually goto the China Travel urself SVC. but if u like to go, 1 of the OFC is quiet around the Grand Hyatt. ABT just 5 minutes walk to the resources of China Bldg ..... ofc this is your visa 4 all Westerners. n after the Olympics, things should return to normal. so do not worry about ur visa. if u hv to make a reservation at the Grand Hyatt aldy ..... try to send your concierge 4 and ask for details. make sure u wl help, r 1 as well svc hotel in Hong Kong.
